EQT Acquires Majority Stake in Acronis

EQT X (part of EQT) will acquire a majority stake in Acronis, the cyber protection and data‑security software platform used by Managed Service Providers and corporate IT departments. Founders, management and existing investors including funds/accounts managed by CVC, Springcoast and BlackRock Private Equity Partners will remain significant minority shareholders; the deal values Acronis above its 2022 growth round and is expected to close in Q1–Q2 2025 pending regulatory approvals.

Eiffage Énergie Systèmes Acquires EQOS from Triton

Funds advised by Triton have signed an agreement to sell EQOS, a European specialty installation and service company focused on energy, telecoms and rail infrastructure, to Eiffage Énergie Systèmes. Terms were not disclosed; under Triton EQOS reached ~EUR 459m revenue and ~1,700 employees, and Eiffage said the acquisition will help it enter and densify energy infrastructure markets in Germany and Austria.

Aspen Technology Acquires Open Grid Systems

Aspen Technology entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Open Grid Systems Limited, a provider of network model management technology for utilities. The integration is intended to expand AspenTech’s Digital Grid Management suite with model-driven capabilities to help utilities better manage and scale grid model data for transmission and distribution operations and resiliency, subject to regulatory approvals and expected to close before the end of 2024.

iQSTEL Inc. to Acquire Remaining 49% of SwissLink Carrier AG via Phased Ownership Exchange

iQSTEL Inc. signed an MOU to acquire the remaining 49% of SwissLink Carrier AG by swapping ownership in SwissLink for iQSTEL common shares over a five-year period (10% ownership per year). The transaction is intended to fully consolidate iQSTEL’s Swiss and broader European telecom footprint while driving projected operational savings of up to $2 million annually.

Sysnet Global Solutions Acquires SecureTrust from Trustwave

The deal expands Sysnet’s PCI-compliance, QSA and managed security capabilities and geographic coverage, creating the world’s largest Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) organization; Sysnet is backed by FTV Capital and True Wind Capital.
