Tenable Acquires Bit Discovery

Tenable Holdings, Inc. agreed to acquire Bit Discovery, a leader in external attack surface management (EASM), for $44.5 million in cash. The acquisition (expected to close in Q2 2022) adds Bit Discovery’s external-facing asset discovery and continuous monitoring capabilities to Tenable’s vulnerability and Cyber Exposure portfolio to give customers a more complete view of attack surface risk.

Zscaler Acquires Cloudneeti

Zscaler announced the intent to acquire Cloudneeti, a Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) startup, to extend Zscaler's Cloud Security Platform with public-cloud misconfiguration detection and automated remediation capabilities. The acquisition will broaden Zscaler's data protection coverage across SaaS, IaaS and PaaS environments; terms were not disclosed and the deal was expected to close prior to Zscaler's fiscal third quarter.
