Thoma Bravo Acquires Calypso Technology from Bridgepoint and Summit Partners

Thoma Bravo has agreed to acquire Calypso Technology from private equity owners Bridgepoint and Summit Partners; the transaction is expected to close in Q2 2021 subject to regulatory approvals and financial terms were not disclosed. Calypso, a San Francisco–based provider of cloud-enabled, front-to-back capital markets software and managed services, will partner with Thoma Bravo to accelerate product innovation, cloud adoption and growth through organic investment and M&A.

Verint Acquires Conversocial

Verint Acquires Cogito

Verint completed the acquisition of Cogito in October 2024, adding Cogito’s real-time agent coaching and conversation AI capabilities to its CX Automation portfolio. Verint has already integrated Cogito technology to launch the Verint CX/EX Scoring Bot, leveraging Cogito’s ability to analyze 200+ acoustic and lexical signals to score live customer-agent interactions and improve contact center performance.

Thoma Bravo Acquires Coupa Software

Thoma Bravo agreed to acquire Coupa Software in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $8.0 billion. The deal also includes a significant minority investment from a wholly owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA). The acquisition was later completed, with Coupa stockholders receiving $81.00 per share in cash.
