Tokens.com closed the purchase of a 50% stake in Metaverse Group by issuing two million common shares at CAD$0.84 (valuation CAD$1.68M), receiving 25 million Metaverse Group shares for the ownership position. Metaverse Group owns an extensive portfolio of virtual NFT real estate across Decentraland, The Sandbox, Somnium Space, Cryptovoxels and Upland and provides virtual property development, property management and metaverse marketing/advertising services.

Tokens.com Acquires Playte Group

Tokens.com Corp., through its subsidiary Hulk Labs, has acquired Playte Group, an Ontario-based developer of play-to-earn (P2E) gaming tools. Playte — a pre-revenue company with five employees — will be integrated into Hulk Labs to provide player-management and P2E asset tooling for Tokens.com's gaming initiatives; consideration included issuance of 1 million Tokens.com shares plus performance-based additional shares.

Tokens.com Acquires Simulacra Corporation (AI & Humanoid Robotics Business)

Tokens.com Corp. agreed to acquire all outstanding shares of Nevada-based Simulacra Corporation, including its subsidiaries Realbotix, Anthropomorphic Figure Dynamics (AFD) and Abyss Creations, to expand into AI and humanoid robotics. The deal (share purchase agreement dated April 4, 2024) will be settled primarily with 75 million Tokens.com common shares and is expected to close around April 16, 2024, subject to TSXV approval.

Orange Comet Acquires Mint State Labs

Los Angeles-based web3 entertainment company Orange Comet has acquired Mint State Labs, a gaming and entertainment technology provider that builds blockchain-powered experiences for creators. Mint State Labs CEO Peter Morales will become Orange Comet's Chief Technology Officer and the target’s leadership, employees and contractors will join Orange Comet; terms were not disclosed.

Spetz Inc. Acquires Sonic Strategy Inc.

Spetz Inc. (CSE: SPTZ) has completed the acquisition of Sonic Strategy Inc., issuing 13,999,999 common shares to Sonic Strategy shareholders in exchange for 100% of the issued and outstanding shares. The acquisition brings Sonic Strategy's blockchain staking and validator capabilities into Spetz's ecosystem to expand its blockchain infrastructure, staking solutions, and validator-as-a-service offerings.

Coincheck Group N.V. Acquires 3iQ Corp. (Majority Stake) in Stock Deal

Coincheck Group N.V., the Nasdaq-listed holding company behind Japan’s Coincheck exchange, has acquired approximately 97% beneficial ownership of Canada-based alternative digital asset manager 3iQ Corp. via a stock purchase agreement with Coincheck’s majority shareholder Monex Group (as seller). The deal closed on February 28, 2026, following a signing announcement on January 8, 2026.
