TPG to Acquire Majority Stake in Elite Legal Tech from Thomson Reuters

TPG has signed a definitive agreement to acquire a majority stake in Elite, a provider of financial and practice management solutions for law firms, valuing the business at approximately US$500 million. Thomson Reuters will retain a minority ownership stake and board representation, and the transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2023 subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.
