TransUnion to Acquire Verisk Financial Services for $515 Million

TransUnion signed a definitive agreement to acquire Verisk Financial Services, Verisk’s financial services business unit, for $515 million in cash. The acquisition is expected to close in Q2 2022, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals. TransUnion expects the deal to expand its “full wallet view” data and analytics, strengthen fraud prevention and risk management capabilities, and accelerate modernization of Verisk Financial’s products using TransUnion’s PRAMA Analytics Platform.

InteractiveTel Acquires Assets of TruMobility

InteractiveTel, a Houston-based provider of AI-driven communications and customer interaction analytics, acquired the assets of TruMobility, a small business VoIP provider, on August 26, 2022. The asset purchase gives InteractiveTel TruMobility's business customer base, a Seattle data-center contract for West Coast coverage, and several TruMobility team members to expand its Hosted VoIP and TotalCX offerings.

TransUnion Acquires Sontiq for $638M

TransUnion has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Sontiq, a consumer identity protection company headquartered in Nottingham, Maryland, for $638 million. The deal (from portfolio owner The Wicks Group) expands TransUnion’s consumer identity and cyber protection offerings—Sontiq generated about $85 million of revenue in 2021 with an ~40% adjusted EBITDA margin and was acquired at ~19x FY2021 adjusted EBITDA; the transaction was expected to close in Q4 2021.

TransUnion to Acquire Monevo

TransUnion has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the remaining equity of U.K.-based credit prequalification and distribution platform Monevo. TransUnion already owns 30% of Monevo and will purchase the rest from Quint Group Limited, with the deal expected to close by Q2 2025 subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals.
