Zilch to Acquire Fjord Bank to Secure European Banking License

Zilch has signed an agreement to acquire AB Fjord Bank, a Lithuania-based, fully regulated challenger bank, to obtain a European banking licence and accelerate its European rollout. The deal will purchase 100% of Fjord Bank and is expected to close in the second half of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals.

Mollie To Acquire GoCardless

Papaya Global Acquires Azimo

Papaya Global has agreed to acquire Azimo, the London-based digital cross-border payments service, to expand its payroll payments capabilities and gain multiple payment licences and a global payment network. The deal will bring Azimo's payment licences (UK, Netherlands, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong) and its team into Papaya, enabling faster, near-instant payments to global employees and new payroll-related services for Papaya customers.

WEX Signs Definitive Agreement to Acquire Payzer

WEX (NYSE: WEX) signed a definitive agreement to acquire Payzer, a cloud-based field service management software provider, for total consideration of approximately $250 million plus contingent consideration of up to $11 million. The deal is expected to close before the end of 2023, subject to customary closing conditions, and is intended to expand WEX’s product suite and cross-sell opportunities to its Mobility customers.
