Industrial Service Solutions (ISS), a Houston-based industrial services provider, has acquired full ownership of Rotating Mechanical Solutions Corporation (RMSC), a Colorado-headquartered specialist in maintenance, repair and overhaul of large-scale rotating equipment. The acquisition expands ISS’s on-site preventive and predictive maintenance, testing and diagnostics, and motor/compressor sales and service capabilities across the western United States as an add‑on to ISS’s field service platform.

New State Capital Partners, with partner APEX Capital Partners, acquired the rotating equipment segment of Universal Plant Services from Jones Industrial Holdings. The rotating segment will continue to operate under the Universal Plant Services brand and remain headquartered in Deer Park, Texas, with current management remaining in place. New State said the business will serve as an anchor investment for a broader industrial aftermarket platform while JIH retains the non-rotating, instrument & electrical, and manufacturing installation segments.

Power Solutions International Acquires MTL Manufacturing & Equipment Inc.

(MTL) in a transaction financed with PSI’s existing cash reserves and the assumption of certain equipment-related debt. MTL is a metal and steel fabricator based in Beloit, Wisconsin, producing components such as switchgear subbases and electrical enclosure assemblies used in power generation and data center applications.
