Uranium Energy Corp Acquires Rio Tinto’s Sweetwater Plant and Wyoming Uranium Assets

Uranium Energy Corp (UEC) has entered into an agreement to acquire 100% of Rio Tinto’s Wyoming uranium assets, including the fully licensed Sweetwater Plant and a portfolio of uranium mining projects. The $175 million purchase price is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2024, subject to customary conditions.
