Amadeus Acquires Vision-Box from Keensight Capital

Amadeus has agreed to acquire Vision-Box, a Portugal-based provider of biometric hardware and software for travel, border control and ID management, from Keensight Capital for an enterprise value of approximately €320 million. The deal brings biometrics hardware and end-to-end traveler orchestration software capabilities into Amadeus’s portfolio, allowing the company to extend its offering from booking through border control and boarding.
