Prepaid Technologies, a payments technology provider based in Alabama, has acquired WorkStride, an enterprise rewards and incentives SaaS platform, from The Riverside Company. The deal expands Prepaid Technologies' payments and customer/employee engagement capabilities by integrating WorkStride's rewards, wallet and channel incentive technology into its platform.

Abry Partners and Castik Capital Acquire Reward Gateway

Reward Gateway, a UK-based SaaS employee engagement platform, has agreed to be acquired by private equity firms Abry Partners and Castik Capital from Great Hill Partners. VeriCheck Acquires Applied Payment Systems (ACHWorks)

Generational Equity advised the seller and the deal closed on December 31, 2021; the acquisition adds ACH processing technology and capabilities to VeriCheck's payments platform.

Repay Acquires APS Payments for $60 million

Repay Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ: RPAY) acquired APS Payments, a Mesa, Arizona-based B2B integrated payments provider, for $60 million (with $30 million paid at closing and up to $30 million in performance-based earnouts). The deal expands Repay's presence in the B2B payments vertical, adds ERP integrations and technology capabilities, and is expected to be immediately accretive to earnings.

Reward Gateway Acquires Brand Integrity

Reward Gateway, a global employee engagement platform, has acquired Brand Integrity, a 15-year-old U.S.-based employee engagement technology and consulting firm headquartered in Rochester, New York. The deal more than doubles Reward Gateway's U.S. team, adds new clients (including Rite-Aid, Constellation Brands, and Excellus BlueCross BlueShield), and strengthens Reward Gateway's presence in the U.S. market.

saas.group Acquires Rewardful

saas.group has completed the acquisition of Rewardful, a referral and affiliate marketing software provider founded in 2017 and headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta. The deal brings affiliate/referral capabilities and Stripe integration into saas.group's portfolio of SaaS businesses to accelerate product expansion and go-to-market for B2B SaaS customers.
