Jon Peddie Research (JPR), a Tiburon, California–based graphics research and consulting firm, has acquired Babel TechReviews, the benchmarking and XR/graphics review site founded and run by Mark Poppin. The deal expands JPR's testing, benchmark coverage and XR expertise, enabling end-to-end analysis across content creation, GPU/computing and display/HMD delivery.

News Corp Acquires Investor's Business Daily for $275M

News Corp has agreed to acquire Investor's Business Daily (IBD) from O'Neil Capital Management for $275 million. IBD, a digital-first financial news and research business with roughly 100,000 digital subscribers and about 130 employees, will operate as a stand-alone brand within News Corp's Dow Jones division to expand Dow Jones's digital finance offerings and proprietary investor tools.

HW Media Acquires The Builder's Daily

John McManus joins HW Media as Publisher of The Builder's Daily and Vice President, Homebuilding; the brand will operate independently while receiving support from HW Media's content, marketing, events and product teams.

The deal folds StreetInsider’s real-time breaking-news services and paywalled feeds into Investing.com’s platform to broaden content capabilities for retail investors while StreetInsider continues to operate as a stand-alone service for select feeds.

J2 Global Acquires Moz and DailyOM in Q2 2021

J2 Global completed two acquisitions in Q2 2021 to expand its product lineup and customer base: it acquired Moz (stock) — a marketing technology / SEO software business — and acquired the assets of DailyOM — a digital health and wellness content business.
