PSP Capital Acquires StormTrap

Chicago-based private investment firm PSP Capital has acquired StormTrap, a Romeoville, Illinois-based provider of underground stormwater management systems, from Warren Equity Partners. The transaction was completed in partnership with StormTrap's management team and founding family; PSP said it will leverage its building products and infrastructure focus to support StormTrap's growth across North America and international markets.

PSP, a maker of surge protection devices and load management systems for HVAC/R and electrical contractors, was acquired at an implied multiple of ~5.0x trailing EBITDA and is expected to be accretive in the first full year.
