Selvita S.A. has completed the acquisition of 100% of the shares in PozLab, a Poznan-based CDMO providing drug product development, analytical and microbiological testing, and small pilot plant manufacturing under GMP. The deal expands Selvita's service offering beyond preclinical research into small-molecule drug manufacturing for early-stage clinical trials and strengthens its position in the pharmaceutical research value chain.

Aceto Acquires Biotron Laboratories and Talus Mineral Company

Aceto has acquired Biotron Laboratories and Talus Mineral Company (collectively "Biotron"), two Utah-based manufacturers of specialty minerals and mineral chelates for the nutritional supplements industry. The acquisition expands Aceto's nutraceuticals capabilities and life-science manufacturing footprint; Biotron operates two manufacturing facilities in Centerville and Ogden, Utah, and is known for proprietary amino-acid based chelation technology. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Draslovka Acquires Chemours' Mining Solutions Business

Draslovka a.s. completed the acquisition of The Chemours Company’s Mining Solutions business for $521 million, making Draslovka the world’s largest producer of solid sodium cyanide and expanding its global operations across Europe, the Americas and Australasia. The transaction was funded with a $348 million Term Loan B arranged by J.P. Morgan and equity from Draslovka’s existing family owners, and is intended to support further international expansion and capability growth in CN-based specialty chemicals.

Solvias Acquires Chemic Laboratories to Establish U.S. Laboratory Presence

Solvias has acquired Canton, Massachusetts-based Chemic Laboratories, Inc., giving the Swiss analytical testing and contract research company a U.S. foothold and complementary laboratory testing capabilities. Triton Acquires Fertiberia Group S.A.

Funds advised by Triton have acquired Fertiberia Group S.A., a leading Spanish producer of fertilizers and industrial chemical products, from Grupo Villar Mir. The agreement was signed in August 2019 and the acquisition was completed in February 2020; financial terms were not disclosed. Fertiberia operates roughly 14 production and blending sites and about 1,400 employees across the Iberian Peninsula and Europe.
