Michigan-based High Street Insurance Partners (HSIP) has acquired First Security Insurance (FSI), an independent insurance agency headquartered in Hickory, North Carolina. FSI leaders Charles Connor IV and CEO Karl Sherrill will remain in leadership roles, with Sherrill also becoming principal and agency operations leader for HSIP; the deal is an add-on to HSIP's PE-backed platform.
