Clio Acquires vLex for $1 Billion and Closes $500M Series G at $5B Valuation

Clio completed its US$1 billion acquisition of legal research and AI provider vLex and concurrently closed a US$500 million Series G led by New Enterprise Associates at a US$5 billion valuation. The transaction includes a US$350 million debt facility led by Blackstone and funds managed by Blue Owl Capital, and Oakley Capital (vLex's majority owner) took equity in Clio as part of the deal.
