Construction Partners, Inc. (NASDAQ: ROAD) acquired Pickens Construction, Inc., a hot‑mix asphalt producer and contractor headquartered in Anderson, South Carolina. The bolt‑on acquisition — which includes one hot‑mix asphalt plant and about 20 employees — will be integrated into CPI’s South Carolina platform, King Asphalt, Inc., and expands CPI’s service footprint in the greater Greenville, South Carolina metro area.

(CPI) has acquired Robinson Paving Company, a Columbus, Georgia–headquartered paving contractor, adding three hot‑mix asphalt plants, crews and equipment to CPI's Georgia operations. The business will operate as a new branded division of CPI's Georgia platform, The Scruggs Company; S&P Capital IQ reported the transaction consideration at approximately $60.3 million and the seller as the Robinson family.

GMJ will join CPI's Durwood Greene Construction Co. platform, expanding CPI's production footprint and local operating talent to support public infrastructure work across the Houston metro area.
