Electrical Components International (ECI), a Cerberus-backed industrial technology platform, has acquired Flex-Tec, Inc., a North American supplier of electrical wire harnesses and cable assemblies headquartered in Byromville, Georgia. The acquisition is an add-on to ECI's Industrial Tech platform to expand its capabilities and presence in commercial LED, smart lighting controls, and IoT end markets, with Flex-Tec continuing to operate under its current management from Byromville and a manufacturing facility in Monterrey, Mexico.

Plastiflex Group Acquires Smooth-Bor Plastics and TIK d.o.o.

Plastiflex Group, the IK Partners-backed manufacturer of tubing systems, acquired two healthcare-focused businesses — Smooth-Bor Plastics (Laguna Hills, CA) and TIK d.o.o. (Kobarid, Slovenia) — as add-on acquisitions to strengthen its respiratory care and catheter manufacturing capabilities. The transactions expand Plastiflex’s product portfolio and global manufacturing footprint (bringing the Group to 12 sites) and support its buy-and-build growth plan toward ~€200m sales and ~€50m EBITDA in 2025.
