WPP’s majority-owned subsidiary Finsbury Glover Hering Corporation and Sard Verbinnen & Co. (SVC) agreed to merge to create a global strategic communications firm with approximately 1,000 professionals across 25 offices. The transaction was completed following the October 13, 2021 announcement, with WPP remaining the majority investor and Golden Gate Capital converting its equity in SVC to remain an investor in the combined firm.
