Gannett Fleming Acquires DEC, Texas-Based Water & Transportation Engineering Firm

Gannett Fleming has acquired DEC, a Houston-based civil engineering firm specializing in transportation, water, wastewater and hydrology, with seven offices across Texas and more than 200 employees. The deal—an add-on to Gannett Fleming (a portfolio company of OceanSound Partners)—deepens Gannett Fleming's presence in Texas and will have DEC's CEO, Michel Maksoud, join as senior director of Texas operations.

GSE Worldwide Acquires InsideOut Sports & Entertainment

GSE Worldwide has acquired InsideOut Sports & Entertainment, a Los Angeles–based event production company that owns and operates marquee sports and entertainment events including The Pickleball Slam, Pro Padel League and Major League Pickleball. The deal marks GSE's first entry into live event production and will create a new GSE Productions division led by Jon Venison, while leveraging recent strategic investment from BC Partners Credit and Gatemore Capital to support continued growth.
