Ferguson Enterprises has closed two bolt-on acquisitions: Independent Pipe & Supply Corp., a PVF and commercial plumbing distributor based in Canton, Massachusetts, and National Fire Equipment Ltd. and National Fire Fabrication Ltd., a Toronto-based fire protection products and fabrication business. The deals expand Ferguson's commercial plumbing and mechanical footprint in New England and strengthen its Fire & Fabrication capabilities and presence in Canada.

Burns' leadership team (including Matthew and John Burns) will retain significant ownership and continue to run the business as OceanSound backs growth initiatives and targeted acquisitions to expand capabilities and geographic reach. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Dresser Utility Solutions Acquires Total Piping Solutions

Dresser Utility Solutions has acquired the assets of Total Piping Solutions (TPS) and will integrate TPS’ patented product lines into its Dresser Pipeline Solutions (DPS) business. The acquisition transfers TPS trademarks and patents (including TX3, Triple Tap, Quick Cam, and Ultra-Sleeve) to expand DPS’ product portfolio and distribution for water and wastewater markets in the U.S. and globally.
