Autodesk Acquires XR Platform The Wild

Autodesk has signed a definitive agreement to acquire The Wild, a cloud-connected extended reality (XR) platform (including IrisVR) that provides immersive collaboration and review tools for architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) teams. The acquisition is intended to expand Autodesk’s XR capabilities and integrate The Wild’s virtual collaboration tools into Autodesk’s broader design and construction cloud offerings.

Cornerstone Acquires Talespin's Extended Reality Capabilities and Team

Cornerstone OnDemand has acquired the extended reality (XR) learning capabilities and a team of specialized experts from Talespin to integrate immersive, AI-powered content authoring and skills analytics into its learning and talent experience platform. The acquisition adds Talespin’s XR experiences, CoPilot Designer no-code authoring tool, and generative AI learning labs to Cornerstone’s content subscriptions to accelerate immersive learning adoption across healthcare, manufacturing, retail and finance customers.

Qlik Acquires Knarr Analytics Assets and IP

Qlik has acquired the assets and intellectual property of Knarr Analytics to enhance real-time collaboration, data exploration and insight capture within the Qlik Sense analytics cloud platform. The acquisition brings Knarr's collaboration and insight-capture capabilities into Qlik's Active Intelligence vision and will be integrated into Qlik's cloud platform; terms were not disclosed.

Dynepic Acquires SurrealVR to Add Multi-Player 3D Training to DX Platform

Dynepic has acquired SurrealVR, a small virtual-reality platform pioneer, and is integrating SurrealVR's multi-player VR/AR capabilities into its DX training platform (including the USAF white-labeled MOTAR). The deal expands Dynepic's immersive training feature set — avatars, identity management, real-time voice, physics and locomotion — enabling rapid creation of collaborative 3D training experiences.
