CI Financial Acquires Multiple U.S. RIAs Including Gofen & Glossberg

CI Financial completed a series of six transactions that expand its CI Private Wealth presence in the U.S., acquiring four registered investment advisor firms—Columbia Pacific Wealth Management, Gofen & Glossberg, RegentAtlantic Capital and R.H. Bluestein—and taking minority stakes in alternative investment firms Columbia Pacific Advisors and GLASfunds. The deals increase CI’s U.S. assets substantially and add wealth-management and alternative-investment capabilities to its U.S. private-wealth platform.
