IK Partners' IK IX Fund has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in GoodLife Foods B.V. from Egeria Capital Management, with GoodLife management reinvesting. Headquartered in Breda, Netherlands, GoodLife is a leading European manufacturer of frozen snacks and meal components (over 700 employees across six plants); IK plans to support international expansion and buy-and-build growth.

Valeo Foods Acquires It's All Good from NVM Private Equity

Valeo Foods has acquired It's All Good (IAG), a UK-based snack manufacturer, from NVM Private Equity. Since NVM's 2014 investment IAG grew to over £37m in annual sales and employs more than 250 people across two Gateshead sites, having developed the Manomasa brand and private-label manufacturing capabilities. The acquisition expands Valeo Foods' snack production and product portfolio in the UK.

Commercial Bakeries Corp., a Graham Partners–backed private label cookie and cracker manufacturer, has acquired Hollandia Bakeries Ltd. and The Good Food Company Inc., adding a Mount Brydges, Ontario baking facility and additional cookie manufacturing and packaging capabilities. The transaction is an add-on to Commercial Bakeries’ platform, intended to expand manufacturing capacity and capabilities in the North American private-label cookie market.

Solina Acquires Food Compounds B.V.

French savoury-ingredients group Solina (majority-owned by PE firm Astorg) has completed the acquisition of Food Compounds B.V., a Netherlands-based specialist in powder-based premixes and coating systems for potato processors. The deal strengthens Solina's coating expertise and R&D capabilities as part of its ongoing expansion strategy; financial terms were not disclosed.

Pamplona Capital Management Acquires Signature Foods from IK Investment Partners

Pamplona Capital Management has agreed to acquire Signature Foods from IK Investment Partners (IK VII Fund); financial terms were not disclosed and the deal is subject to antitrust approvals. Signature Foods, headquartered in Hilversum, Netherlands, is a leading chilled convenience food manufacturer (brands include Johma and Délio) with more than 600 employees, seven production sites across the Netherlands, Belgium and Poland, and revenues in excess of €300 million.
