Pearce Renewables Acquires Mortenson Energy Services

Pearce Renewables, a division of Pearce Services, has acquired Mortenson Energy Services to expand its operations and maintenance capabilities across utility‑scale wind, solar, EV charging, and battery energy storage infrastructure. The deal combines Mortenson’s experienced wind-service teams with Pearce Renewables’ existing brands and engineering capabilities to create a larger independent renewable‑energy service provider.

CBRE Group Acquires Pearce Services from New Mountain Capital

CBRE Group, Inc. agreed to acquire Pearce Services, LLC from New Mountain Capital for approximately $1.2 billion in cash plus an earn-out of up to $115 million. The acquisition expands CBRE's digital and power infrastructure capabilities by adding Pearce's design engineering, maintenance and repair services for critical power, cooling, renewable energy and telecom infrastructure; Pearce has more than 4,000 employees and is projected to generate over $660 million of revenue in 2026.

Pearce Renewables Acquires MFG Energy Services

Pearce Renewables, a division of Pearce Services, has acquired MFG Energy Services, a division of Molded Fiber Glass Companies, to expand its composite blade repair, engineering, maintenance, and inspection services for wind turbines. The acquisition (terms undisclosed) strengthens Pearce Renewables' position in the renewable energy services market and is an add-on to Pearce's growing renewables platform backed by New Mountain Capital.

The deal, supported with incremental capital from Goldman Sachs Alternatives' Hybrid Capital group, expands Pearce's capabilities into UPS services and strengthens its presence across data center, telecom, healthcare and other mission-critical end markets; Incline Equity Partners sold Unified Power.

Skyview Energy (PS Energy) Acquires Mountain Power Electric

Skyview Energy, a division of PS Energy Group, has acquired Mountain Power Electric (MPE), a Murphy, North Carolina-based Generac distributor that provides sales, installation and service of generators and electrical services. The acquisition expands Skyview's energy solutions and service footprint across the Tri-State area of western North Carolina, northern Georgia and eastern Tennessee.
