Qualys Acquires Assets of Blue Hexagon

Qualys, Inc. acquired the assets of AI/ML cybersecurity provider Blue Hexagon and will integrate Blue Hexagon’s deep-learning network detection capabilities into the Qualys Cloud Platform to provide predictive analytics and real-time threat detection. All Blue Hexagon employees joined Qualys, with Blue Hexagon CEO Nayeem Islam joining as VP of product management; the deal closed on October 4, 2022 and was paid mostly in cash with a portion in stock.
