Toyota Tsusho America Acquires Radius Recycling

Toyota Tsusho America, a subsidiary of Toyota Tsusho Corporation, has completed the acquisition of Radius Recycling, a leading North American recycler and steel manufacturer headquartered in Portland, Oregon. Radius will continue to operate as a standalone business, retaining its management, employees, operating facilities and brand while helping Toyota Tsusho advance its circular-economy and carbon-neutrality initiatives.

Northstar Recycling Company, LLC has acquired Waste Technology Services, LLC, combining two asset-light providers of managed waste, byproduct management and environmental consulting to strengthen technical capabilities and expand sustainability-oriented services. WTS, founded in 1982 and headquartered in Lewiston, New York, will join Northstar's platform (PE-backed after a 2021 recapitalization led by Ridgemont Equity Partners) to deliver broader recycling, reuse and reclamation solutions across specialty chemical, pharmaceutical, high-technology and industrial end markets.
