Greif Acquires Majority Stake in Centurion Container LLC

Greif, Inc. completed an all-cash transaction to increase its ownership in Centurion Container LLC from 9% to 80% for $145 million, funded through Greif's existing credit facility. Centurion, a North American leader in IBC and plastic drum reconditioning with eight U.S. facilities, will be reported within Greif's Global Industrial Packaging segment and expand Greif's reusable packaging and circular-economy capabilities in North America.

Triton Acquires MacGregor from Hiab (formerly Cargotec)

Funds advised by Triton have completed the acquisition of the MacGregor business from Hiab (formerly Cargotec). MacGregor is a global leader in maritime and offshore cargo and load handling, with ~EUR 800m of 2024 sales and about 2,000 employees; Triton said the deal aligns with its strategy to invest in industrial technology leaders with strong engineering and aftermarket potential.

Canada Cartage Acquires The GTI Group to Enter U.S. Market

Canada Cartage Corporation has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire The GTI Group, a Montreal-based logistics provider offering brokerage, freight management, forwarding, drayage, intermodal, warehousing and specialized heavy/oversize trucking. The deal expands Canada Cartage’s service capabilities and marks its first entry into the U.S. market, with GTI’s U.S. offices in Houston, Des Moines and Franklin, Tennessee; the combined company is expected to generate over C$1 billion in annual revenue.

AIT Worldwide Logistics Acquires Global Transport Solutions Group

AIT Worldwide Logistics has acquired Global Transport Solutions Group (GTS), a Netherlands-headquartered specialist in time-critical marine spare parts logistics. The deal brings GTS’ more than 600 teammates across 16 locations and nine consolidation hubs into AIT’s global network, adding marine spare-parts capabilities, warehouse capacity and new geographic presence in Greece, Japan and the Nordics; terms were not disclosed.

The investment will provide GTS with resources to support geographic expansion, strengthen its network and capabilities, and accelerate growth across time-critical maritime supply chain markets.

Greif, Inc. Acquires Lee Container Corporation

Greif, Inc. completed the acquisition of Lee Container Corporation for $300 million in an all-cash transaction funded through Greif's existing credit facility. The acquisition expands Greif's jerrycan and small-plastic container footprint in North America, is expected to be margin-accretive, and to generate approximately $6 million in synergies within the first two years.
