GTI Transport Solutions Acquires Foxconn Logistics

Novacap-backed GTI Transport Solutions has acquired Foxconn Logistics, an asset-light brokerage specializing in container management and drayage across major U.S. ports. The add-on expands GTI's intermodal and container capabilities and strengthens its north–south corridor coverage between Montreal and Texas.

Canada Cartage Corporation has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire The GTI Group, a Montreal-based logistics provider offering brokerage, freight management, forwarding, drayage, intermodal, warehousing and specialized heavy/oversize trucking. The deal expands Canada Cartage’s service capabilities and marks its first entry into the U.S. market, with GTI’s U.S. offices in Houston, Des Moines and Franklin, Tennessee; the combined company is expected to generate over C$1 billion in annual revenue.
