Lineage, Inc. acquired three temperature-controlled warehouses and related assets from Bellingham Cold Storage, representing approximately 24 million cubic feet of capacity and about 85,000 pallet positions across three Washington locations (Bellingham Waterfront, Orchard/I-5, and Burlington Dry). The deal expands Lineage’s Pacific Northwest network and provides a strategic footprint at the Port of Bellingham to better serve seafood, agriculture and broader food & beverage customers.

Chicago-based private investment firm Tilia Holdings completed its investment in Proven Partners Group (PPG), an Elgin, Illinois-based contract manufacturer and packager of dried and powdered foods, on February 22, 2019. Tilia has installed leadership and board members (Dave Nelson as interim CEO; Suley Muratoglu as President; Ron Markle as CFO) and secured debt financing from LBC Credit Partners to support PPG's growth.

Tilia Holdings Acquires NutriScience Innovations

Chicago-based private equity firm Tilia Holdings completed the acquisition of NutriScience Innovations, a Milford, Connecticut developer and supplier of branded nutritional and specialty ingredients. The sellers on the transaction included Akoya Capital, Lakeview Equity Partners and Greyrock Capital Group; NutriScience's CEO Alan Yengoyan will remain in his role to support the company's next phase of growth.

Americold Realty Trust Acquires Cloverleaf Cold Storage

Americold Realty Trust (NYSE: COLD) has closed its acquisition of privately-held Chiller Holdco, LLC ("Cloverleaf Cold Storage"), adding a 22-facility portfolio (21 owned, 1 managed) totaling 132 million refrigerated cubic feet. The acquisition increases Americold's portfolio to over one billion refrigerated cubic feet and expands its temperature-controlled warehousing footprint and capabilities.

Chicago-based private investment firm Tilia Holdings completed its acquisition of Wheat Parent, Inc. (doing business as Wheat Montana) from River Associates on April 30, 2021. Wheat Montana, headquartered in Three Forks, Montana, will continue to be led by CEO Laura Carden and the existing management team as Tilia provides capital and board support to expand the company's premium bakery and milled products business.

Lineage Logistics Acquires Van Tuyl Logistics, H&S Coldstores and Frigocare Rotterdam BV

Lineage Logistics has acquired Dutch temperature-controlled logistics providers Van Tuyl Logistics, H&S Coldstores (from H&S Group) and the Rotterdam facilities of Frigocare Rotterdam BV to expand its Benelux footprint and strengthen refrigerated transport and cold‑storage capabilities in the region. The transactions add more than 250,000 cubic metres of capacity across the Netherlands (including ~30,000 pallet spaces at Van Tuyl, 48,000 tonnes capacity from H&S and 15,000 pallet positions at Frigocare) and bring additional transport capacity to Lineage's European operations.
