Averna Acquires ELCOM a.s. (Czech Republic)

Averna, a Walter Capital Partners portfolio company, has acquired ELCOM a.s. and its subsidiaries (RH‑Tech s.r.o. and ELTIA, s.r.o.) in the Czech Republic. The deal — supported by Averna shareholders including Walter Capital Partners, Investissement Québec and W Investments — adds ~150 employees and expands Averna's capabilities in test & measurement, power engineering and industrial automation as part of its international expansion.

Averna Acquires Global Equipment Services, Inc. from Kimball Electronics

Averna, a Walter Capital Partners–backed test and quality solutions provider, has acquired Global Equipment Services, Inc. (GES), a division of Kimball Electronics. The deal adds roughly 600 employees, more than 160,000 ft² of manufacturing space and expands Averna’s footprint across Asia and North America with new locations including San Jose, Ho Chi Minh, Suzhou, Trivandrum and Tokyo.

Genuen Acquires Versatech to Add Robotics and Production Automation Capabilities

Genuen, a Lenexa, Kansas-based provider of end-to-end test solutions, has acquired Versatech, an Effingham, Illinois engineering firm that designs and integrates robotic and production automation equipment. Versatech will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary with existing offices and management remaining in place, expanding Genuen's ability to integrate production-line automation with test solutions.

GE Vernova Acquires Remaining 50% of Prolec GE

GE Vernova completed the purchase of the remaining 50% stake in Prolec GE from joint-venture partner Xignux for $5.275 billion, funded with an equal mix of cash and debt. The acquisition converts the long-running JV into a wholly owned business and brings Prolec GE (roughly 10,000 employees across seven manufacturing sites in the Americas) fully into GE Vernova’s Electrification segment to expand manufacturing capacity and services for North American grid markets.

Provana Acquires MEG Business Management
