CapVest Acquires Inspired Pet Nutrition from L Catterton

Funds managed by CapVest Partners have agreed to acquire Inspired Pet Nutrition (IPN), the U.K.'s leading independent pet food platform, from L Catterton. IPN—home to the Harringtons and Wagg brands—was scaled under L Catterton through manufacturing investment, brand marketing and DTC capabilities; CapVest said it will support further expansion across the U.K. and Europe. Terms were not disclosed.

AbbVie Acquires Capstan Therapeutics

The deal strengthens AbbVie's immunology pipeline and expands its in vivo cell‑programming capabilities for RNA payload delivery.

AmeriVet Veterinary Partners (San Antonio, TX) acquired 14 veterinary practices from Northeast Veterinary Partners in a buyout announced October 11, 2022, marking the first time AmeriVet has purchased another veterinary consolidator. The deal expands AmeriVet’s clinic network (bringing it to about 186 clinics at the time) and adds locations across New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, California and Maine as part of its ongoing consolidation and network expansion strategy.
