Monroe Street Partners (MSP), a Chicago-based private equity firm, acquired a majority equity stake in American Roadway Logistics (ARL), a Norton, Ohio-based provider of pavement marking and traffic maintenance services. ARL founders Heidi and Jon Claxton made a substantial reinvestment and will continue to lead the business (President and COO); the company employs over 150 people across two locations and MSP intends to support growth and operational improvements.
