Gladstone Investment Corporation has acquired Global GRAB Technologies in a $67.6 million transaction comprised of equity and senior secured debt. Global GRAB, based in Franklin, Tennessee, specializes in perimeter security and hostile vehicle mitigation systems for government and commercial clients; Gladstone said the investment will support the company's growth, product portfolio expansion, and ability to protect critical infrastructure.

Vertex Aerospace, owned by private equity firm American Industrial Partners, agreed to acquire Raytheon Technologies' Defense Training and Mission Critical Solutions business lines, a group of businesses that generated approximately $1.0 billion in sales in 2020. The transaction (a divestiture by Raytheon Technologies) adds roughly 2,000 employees to Vertex, expands its training, mission-critical support and modernization capabilities, and broadens its government and commercial aerospace contract portfolio.

PROtect, LLC, a portfolio company of Spire Capital Partners, has acquired Riccardelli Consulting Services, Inc. (RCS), a Lehi, Utah–based provider of advanced and conventional non-destructive testing focused on pipeline integrity for the midstream oil & gas industry. The bolt‑on acquisition expands PROtect's advanced NDT and pipeline integrity capabilities; RCS owner Sean Riccardelli will join the combined management team. Both companies will retain existing employees and continue operating under their current brands.

CD&R to Acquire Majority Stake in Presidio from BC Partners

Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R) will acquire a majority ownership position in Presidio, a leading IT services and digital solutions provider, from BC Partners, which will retain a minority stake. The transaction, which strengthens Presidio’s ability to expand its cloud, managed services and cybersecurity capabilities, is expected to close in Q2 2024; terms were not disclosed.
