Funds managed by Castik Capital will acquire TBAuctions, the European online auction platform formed from Troostwijk Auctions and BVA Auctions, to accelerate pan‑European growth through organic expansion and buy‑and‑build. The deal (subject to Works Council and ACM approvals) will back TBAuctions' ATLAS technology platform and support further add‑on acquisitions across Europe while existing management will remain significant shareholders.

The transaction is an add-on consolidation aimed at accelerating Klaravik’s European expansion and scaling TBAuctions’ position as a leading online auction marketplace across Europe.

The deal brings Auktionshuset dab’s insolvency and project-auction expertise and Danish market coverage into TBAuctions’ ATLAS platform to accelerate growth and expand the group’s Nordic footprint.

TBAuctions Acquires Auksjonen, Bjarøy Group and PS Auction as Summa Equity Joins TBAuctions

TBAuctions will acquire Norwegian online auction platform Auksjonen and appraiser Bjarøy (together the Bjarøy Group) and Swedish online auction platform PS Auction to accelerate its pan‑European online auction platform expansion. Simultaneously, Summa Equity is joining as a minority shareholder in TBAuctions; PS Auction is being divested by Nordic PE firm MVI. The signings were completed on 17 March with a planned closing by the end of April, subject to approvals.

Auktionshuset dab, part of the TBAuctions group, has acquired and will integrate KJ Auktion into its operations to create a stronger Danish auction house focused on insolvency and project-based auctions. The deal expands TBAuctions’ footprint in Denmark, combining KJ Auktion’s North Jutland presence and staff with Auktionshuset dab’s platform and nationwide coverage; employees from KJ Auktion will continue working within the combined organisation.
