The deal pairs Trustwave's MDR, MSS and threat-intelligence capabilities with MC² and The Chertoff Group's security advisory and industry relationships to accelerate Trustwave's growth and extend its reach across commercial and public sector markets.

A consortium led by private equity firm Symphony Technology Group (STG) completed the acquisition of McAfee's Enterprise business in a transaction announced for $4.0 billion. The divestiture separates McAfee's enterprise security operations — which generated about $1.3 billion in FY2020 revenue and served the vast majority of Fortune 100 customers — allowing McAfee to focus on consumer security while STG invests to grow the standalone enterprise cybersecurity business.
