Solotech Acquires XR Studios

Solotech, a global audiovisual and entertainment technology company, has acquired XR Studios, a Los Angeles–based extended reality and virtual production agency. BuildTec Software Group, a European construction-software platform backed by funds advised by BU Bregal Unternehmerkapital (and supported by VIA Equity), has acquired SORBA EDV AG, a St. Gallen–based provider of modular construction ERP software. The deal adds SORBA’s roughly 80+ employees and more than 2,500 Swiss construction customers to the BuildTec platform and is intended to accelerate growth and cross-border expansion in Switzerland and the wider DACH region.
