Allbritten's president Jerry Unruh will retain a significant minority stake and become an advisor while the company’s management will continue operating under the Allbritten name as Redwood provides capital and operational support to expand in the Fresno market and broaden Redwood's West Coast footprint.

Jacksons Food Stores Acquires Redwood Oil Company (Redwood Market)

Jacksons Food Stores has acquired Redwood Oil Company, operator of the 24-store Redwood Market convenience-store chain in Northern California, nearly doubling Jacksons' California footprint from about 30 to 54 locations. The acquisition gives Jacksons its first made-to-order foodservice capability (Redwood’s Aztec Grill) and will allow the retailer to pilot the program across its wider network while integrating Jacksons products and systems.

HomeServe Acquires Taylor Heating, Inc.

HomeServe USA has acquired Taylor Heating, Inc., a Rochester, New York-based HVAC and plumbing services company founded in 1947. Taylor Heating's 36 employees will join HomeServe as the co-owners transition roles, with the acquisition intended to expand HomeServe's local residential HVAC/plumbing service footprint.
