Chevron Acquires Renewable Energy Group for $3.15 Billion

Chevron Corporation agreed to acquire Renewable Energy Group, Inc. (REG) in an all-cash transaction valued at about $3.15 billion, bringing REG's renewable fuels production, feedstock capabilities and pre‑treatment facilities into Chevron's Downstream and Renewables operations. The deal accelerates Chevron's plan to grow renewable fuels capacity and expands its low‑carbon fuels offering; REG shareholders approved the transaction and REG's leadership (CJ Warner) joined Chevron's board following closing.

BlackRock Real Assets Acquires National Renewable Solutions

BlackRock Real Assets has acquired 100% of National Renewable Solutions (NRS), a Minneapolis-based developer of utility-scale wind and solar projects, to accelerate development and ownership of NRS’s project pipeline of more than 3.5 GW across the Western United States. Terms were not disclosed; the deal pairs NRS’s on-the-ground development expertise and >1 GW of developed projects with BlackRock’s capital markets capabilities and global renewable power platform.

CBRE Group Acquires Pearce Services from New Mountain Capital

CBRE Group, Inc. agreed to acquire Pearce Services, LLC from New Mountain Capital for approximately $1.2 billion in cash plus an earn-out of up to $115 million. The acquisition expands CBRE's digital and power infrastructure capabilities by adding Pearce's design engineering, maintenance and repair services for critical power, cooling, renewable energy and telecom infrastructure; Pearce has more than 4,000 employees and is projected to generate over $660 million of revenue in 2026.

Canaccord Genuity Acquires Carbon Reduction Capital (CRC-IB)

The CRC-IB partners will lead Canaccord's newly formed Energy Transformation group to expand the firm's advisory capabilities across renewable energy, storage, carbon capture and related energy transition markets; financial terms were not disclosed.

Renovus Capital Partners Invests in HBR Consulting's Advisory Business
