Happy Home will continue operating under its local brand and existing management, while NearU plans to bolster customer service capabilities and expand its plumbing offerings in the Triangle market.

Southern Home Services, a Gryphon Investors‑backed home‑services platform headquartered in Maitland, Florida, acquired AirPlus Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical, a Lorton, Virginia–based residential HVAC, plumbing and electrical contractor. The acquisition expands Southern's Mid‑Atlantic footprint, adds electrical and Generac generator installation capabilities to its service offering, and brings AirPlus' local team and customer base into Southern's platform.

HomeServe USA Acquires United Plumbing Company

HomeServe USA has acquired United Plumbing Company, a residential plumbing contractor based in Goshen (Louisville), Kentucky. United Plumbing, led by former owner Christopher Montgomery who will become General Manager, has nearly 40 employees and will help HomeServe expand its service footprint into the Louisville market and strengthen its local skilled-trades network.

Homepage Universe Acquires VPS Network Group from Cloud Equity Group

Homepage Universe Inc., a Los Angeles-based hosting operator, has acquired VPS Network Group ("VPS Net") from Cloud Equity Group in a full exit for the private equity firm. VPS Net is an international virtualization and bare-metal cloud hosting provider (including brands such as Virpus) and the deal is intended to expand Homepage Universe's virtualization capabilities across multiple technology stacks and geographies. Terms were not disclosed.
