Chicago-based private equity firm Wind Point Partners has acquired Hasa, Inc., a Saugus, California-based manufacturer and distributor of water treatment chemicals and related products. The transaction was a sale by prior owner GHK Capital Partners LP; Hasa management will continue to lead the business and retain a meaningful ownership stake as Wind Point seeks organic growth and strategic M&A to expand geographic coverage and the product portfolio.

GHK Capital Partners LP, a Greenwich-based private equity firm, has completed the acquisition of Hasa, Inc., a California-based manufacturer and distributor of water treatment and pool chemicals. Senior management will remain in place and the transaction was financed in part by Goldman Sachs Specialty Lending Group and Comvest Credit Partners to support growth and expansion of Hasa's manufacturing and distribution platform.

HASA, Inc. has completed the acquisition of B's Pool Supplies, a California-based chemical supplier focused on recreational water and chemical delivery for commercial aquatic venues. The acquisition expands HASA's footprint and service capabilities in the Inland Empire and Desert regions of Southern California and will integrate B's customer relationships and delivery capabilities into HASA's vertically integrated water treatment platform.

Hasa Acquires Chem Eleven Products, Inc. from FSTI, Inc.

Hasa, Inc., a Wind Point Partners portfolio company, has acquired Chem Eleven Products, Inc. and select related assets from parent company FSTI, Inc. The acquisition adds a Greenville, Texas salt-to-bleach manufacturing site to Hasa's footprint and supports Hasa's capacity expansion and geographic growth strategy in Texas, including two new packaging/transfer facilities in San Antonio and Dallas.

The acquisition brings PCTI's 1-Day Residential Pool Chemistry Certification (PCC-R) under HASA's sponsorship as part of an effort to expand training, support, and certification resources for residential pool service professionals.

Ondas Holdings (American Robotics) Acquires Ardenna

Ondas Holdings, through its subsidiary American Robotics, entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Ardenna, a provider of image-processing and machine-learning software for rail infrastructure inspections. The deal will integrate Ardenna's Rail-Inspector analytics into American Robotics' Scout autonomous drone platform to deliver end-to-end monitoring and inspection solutions for the rail industry; Ardenna is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bihrle Applied Research Inc., and the acquisition was expected to close in Q2 2022.
