Gen Digital Acquires MoneyLion for Approximately $1 Billion

Gen Digital Inc. has completed the acquisition of MoneyLion Inc. for $82.00 per share in cash, representing an enterprise value of roughly $1.0 billion; MoneyLion shareholders will also receive one contingent value right (CVR) per share tied to Gen stock performance or a change of control. The deal, announced as closed in April 2025, strengthens Gen's financial-wellness capabilities by integrating MoneyLion's consumer fintech ecosystem and marketplace into Gen's consumer cyber-safety and financial offerings.

Integrity Marketing Group, an omnichannel insurtech leader based in Dallas, has acquired Lion Street, an Austin-based national network of agencies and professionals specializing in life insurance, wealth management and financial planning for high-net-worth clients. The deal will fold Lion Street's broker-dealer, RIA and private client capabilities into Integrity's platform to expand distribution, technology and shared services; financial terms were not disclosed.

Lion Electric Completes Business Combination with Northern Genesis Acquisition Corp.

Lion Electric completed a business combination with special purpose acquisition company Northern Genesis Acquisition Corp., resulting in approximately US$490 million of net proceeds (including a concurrent PIPE). As a result of the transaction Lion began trading on the NYSE and TSX under the ticker LEV; the proceeds will be used to finance U.S. manufacturing expansion, develop battery systems and repay outstanding debt. Lion's founder and CEO Marc Bédard will continue to lead the company, and Northern Genesis directors Ian Robertson and Chris Jarratt joined the board.
