Pye-Barker Fire & Safety has acquired Metro Fire & Safety Equipment in New Jersey as an add-on to expand its footprint in the state and the surrounding Northeast market. Metro Fire, founded in 1962, provides full-service fire protection and life-safety systems (installation, inspection, repair, sales and training) and will continue to be operated by President Brian Campbell and the existing management team with support from Pye-Barker.

Jersey Fire will continue to operate locally while leveraging Pye-Barker's nationwide resources and expertise; Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP represented Pye-Barker in the transaction.

The deal adds local fire protection, extinguisher, alarm, sprinkler and suppression capabilities (and exclusive regional MSA G1 distribution) to Pye-Barker's East Coast footprint and preserves the target's technician team and community relationships.
