Blackstone’s private equity funds have completed the acquisition of International Data Group, Inc. (IDG) from Oriental Rainbow, LLC (a China Oceanwide subsidiary) for an enterprise value of $1.3 billion. IDG — which includes IDC and IDG Communications — provides market intelligence, data and technology-focused media; Blackstone said it will partner with IDG to expand product offerings and drive technology innovation.

GB Group plc Acquires Acuant from Audax Private Equity

GB Group plc (GBG) has agreed to acquire Acuant, a leading identity verification and KYC/AML provider, for a cash-free, debt-free enterprise value of $736 million. The acquisition—sold by Audax Private Equity—adds Acuant's ~200+ employees and ~1,000 customers to GBG, accelerating GBG's expansion into the US and strengthening its global identity verification and fraud-prevention product suite.

Ideagen has delisted from the London Stock Exchange AIM and will receive investment from Hg to accelerate product, technology and talent investment and support further acquisitions; Chris Bayne is set to join Ideagen’s board.
