Cable One Acquires Hargray Communications

Cable One, Inc. agreed to acquire the remaining equity interests in Hargray Communications from an investor group led by The Pritzker Organization, buying out approximately 85% of Hargray it did not already own in a transaction implying a $2.2 billion enterprise value. The deal expands Cable One's footprint into the Southeastern United States and positions the company to leverage Hargray's fiber-expansion capabilities and local market presence.
