Safe Fleet Acquires Roll-Rite from Capital Partners and Argosy Private Equity

Safe Fleet Holdings, LLC, a portfolio company of Oak Hill Capital Partners, has acquired Roll-Rite Holdings Group LLC, a Gladwin, Michigan-based manufacturer of automated and semi-automated tarping systems. Roll-Rite was a portfolio company of Capital Partners and Argosy Private Equity; the deal expands Safe Fleet's product capabilities and presence in construction, agriculture and recycling end-markets.

Truck-Lite Acquires Lumitec

Truck-Lite, Co., LLC has acquired Lumitec LLC, a designer and manufacturer of extreme-environment LED lighting and lighting control systems for marine, off-highway and specialty vehicle OEM and aftermarket customers. Brown Gibbons Lang & Company served as exclusive financial advisor to Lumitec; terms were not disclosed. The acquisition expands Truck-Lite’s product and OEM capabilities in marine and specialty vehicle lighting.

Safe Fleet, a Missouri-headquartered provider of fleet safety solutions and an Oak Hill Capital Partners portfolio company, has acquired Labcraft, a UK-based manufacturer of high-performance LED lighting for commercial and emergency vehicles. The acquisition expands Safe Fleet's product capabilities in premium vehicle lighting and strengthens its position for growth in the European commercial vehicle market; Labcraft will continue to operate as a standalone business.

Safe Fleet Acquires Kerr Industries (and Crown North America)

The deal brings Kerr's multi-location vehicle upfitting and engineering expertise into Safe Fleet's law enforcement product and service portfolio, enabling cross-selling and a larger trained installer/service network across the U.S. and Canada.

Safe Fleet Acquires Merlot Vango Tarping Solutions

Safe Fleet, a portfolio company of Oak Hill Capital, has acquired Merlot Vango Tarping Solutions, a designer and manufacturer of rolling tarpaulin systems for flatbed and platform trailers. The deal brings Merlot's Vango rolling tarp systems, installation and aftermarket service capabilities into Safe Fleet's Commercial Vehicle Group as an add-on to expand its tarp system product portfolio and geographic reach; Merlot will continue to be led by its existing management team in Verona, Pennsylvania.
