Matrix Adhesives Group, a portfolio company of private equity firm Goldner Hawn, has acquired ROMAN Products, LLC — a Calumet City, Illinois-based manufacturer of wallcovering adhesives — from Salt Creek Capital. The transaction is an add-on acquisition to Matrix’s adhesives platform intended to integrate Roman’s product portfolio, manufacturing and packaging capabilities into Matrix’s broader offerings.

Churchill Asset Management provided an equity co-investment and industry veteran Dan Horner joined as CEO and a management investor. The combined platform operates manufacturing locations in Somerset, Pennsylvania (USA) and Guelph, Ontario (Canada) serving blue-chip customers across consumer and industrial markets.
