Engineering Services Acquisitions in Canada

Egis entered into an agreement to acquire McIntosh Perry, a North American engineering services and consulting firm headquartered in Toronto. Following closing (expected in early July 2023), McIntosh Perry will serve as Egis’ North American platform to accelerate expansion across Canada and the United States.

Kontrol Energy Corp. completed the acquisition of Ortech Consulting Inc., an engineering consulting firm focused on greenhouse gas reporting, air and emissions testing, and renewable energy/power consulting. The deal had an aggregate purchase price of $4.6 million, paid in cash at closing, and was supported by a $4.0 million secured bridge loan from the Pinnacle Absolute Return Trust.
