Government & Public Sector Acquisitions in New Jersey

McCarthy Capital has made a growth equity investment in Critical Response Group (CRG) to accelerate the company’s product innovation and scale its indoor emergency response mapping platform. The investment will support CRG’s efforts to meet rising demand across education, government and healthcare markets and expand integrations with first-responder technologies.

Spatial Data Logic (SDL), a municipal management software provider headquartered in Somerset, New Jersey, has acquired Municipal Information Systems, Inc. (MIS) of Mountainside, New Jersey. The deal strengthens SDL's New Jersey presence and gives MIS customers a path to SDL's platform to meet new state digital-permitting requirements under NJ State Bill 1145.

IMB Partners, a middle-market private equity firm, has made a strategic investment in eTelligent Group, a provider of digital transformation, DevSecOps, PMO and cybersecurity services to the U.S. federal government. The partnership will provide eTelligent Group with capital and operational support to scale organizational capabilities, pursue larger contracts, diversify its customer base beyond the IRS, and explore acquisitions.

Gauge Capital has partnered with the founders and management of Spatial Data Logic in a recapitalization to support product development and sales & marketing growth. Spatial Data Logic, a Somerset, New Jersey-based provider of permitting, licensing, code enforcement and workflow automation software for municipalities, will use the investment to expand its cloud SDL Connect platform and accelerate growth.
