HVAC & Mechanical Acquisitions in Louisiana

Citation Capital, a Dallas-based private equity firm, acquired a majority stake in Gallo Mechanical, a fourth-generation New Orleans-based mechanical contractor specializing in large-scale HVAC and plumbing installation and services. The Gallo family and management will retain a significant interest, and the partnership is intended to support geographic and capability-driven growth across healthcare, hospitality, education and industrial end markets.

Elevator Service LLC (ESI), backed by Carroll Capital, completed an add-on investment in A-1 Elevator Service and Pinnacle Elevator, two independent elevator service providers in the New Orleans metropolitan area. The transaction expands ESI's platform into the Southeast (its tenth market) and aims to drive regional density, capability improvements, and continued growth through enhanced technology, sales, and operational support.

Air Pros USA has acquired Dream Team Heating and Air, a family-owned HVAC company serving the Baton Rouge/Denham Springs area, and will integrate its operations and sales into the Air Pros USA platform. The deal expands Air Pros USA's market presence in Louisiana and increases its service coverage in the Baton Rouge metropolitan area.

Fort Lauderdale-based Air Pros USA has acquired Doug's Service Company, a Thibodaux, Louisiana HVAC and home services provider founded in 1988. The acquisition expands Air Pros USA's national footprint into its eighth state (Louisiana) and retains Doug's staff and operations under the existing brand.

Apex Service Partners has partnered with Southern Air Heating & Cooling, a residential HVAC and plumbing services company headquartered in Ball, Louisiana, to add the business to its national HVAC, plumbing and electrical services platform. The Preuett family (founder Ira Preuett) will continue to operate the business under its current brand while Apex (a platform backed by Alpine Investors) supports further growth and geographic expansion across Louisiana and Mississippi.
